NOMINATED BY: The Palace GroupPROJECT STATEMENT: For Miami’s first Fleet Week, The Palace hosted officers and sailors aboard the USS New York and FSN Ventrose. The community targeted prospective residents who were veterans; invitations sent via e-blast/email and personal calls encouraged guests to wear military uniforms and bring insignias or photos from their service.
Approximately 320 residents and families, along with 40 prospects, attended the event, which featured a happy hour, buffet dinner and a patriotic concert. Commemorative plaques were presented to officers on behalf of the community’s veterans.
The event received stellar reviews from attendees and prospects. A post-event e-blast and corporate newsletter maximized marketing efforts.
