Best Interior Merchandising of a Common Area

Nominated By:      StreetLights Residential
Location:               Dallas

Project Statement:

The McKenzie’s 22 stories contain 183 residences for rent that average 1,600 square feet. With a 24-hour concierge and valet, the highest quality custom finishes and unique expansive amenity spaces, The McKenzie offers the finest living in a rental community in Dallas. Adjacent to the Park Cities, The McKenzie is surrounded by historic Highland Park and the Knox-Henderson neighborhood, and within walking distance to luxury retailers and fine dining. The McKenzie’s average unit size of 1,600 square feet has never been attempted in a Dallas rental community. With units as large as 3,282 square feet, these floor plans are unique in comparison to others in the market. Residents can choose between three different custom schemes for the interior finish of their homes. Wolf gas ranges, ample storage, custom cabinetry, classic moldings, built-in bar with open shelving, built-in desk and bookshelves, and dimmable cove lighting are a few of the many custom features available in the homes. The McKenzie was the first Fitwell Certified multifamily development in Texas. It was important to StreetLights Residential to focus on resident health and the sustainability of the property. Worth Ross Management is the property’s management company. That group previously had exclusively managed only high-end condo communities in Dallas. The Allie Beth Allman URBAN company, a team of specialists in selling luxury high-end homes and condos, is leasing the property. This unique partnership provides an elevated experience for the residents.
