Project Statement:

Central Place Residences is a 377-unit, 30-story apartment building with 15,000 square feet of amenities and 35,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The project is part of the two-building, 1 million-square-foot trophy mixed-use Central Place development. In addition to the Residential Tower, Central Place includes Central Place Tower (a 530,000-square-foot office tower with a 10,000-square-foot observation deck and 11,000 square feet of ground-floor retail), and a 17,000-square-foot public plaza, with direct access to the high-speed Rosslyn Metro Station elevators. At 30 stories tall, Central Place Residences is one of the tallest buildings in the D.C. metro Area, offering residents spectacular views of the Potomac River, Georgetown and downtown D.C. Designed by internationally renowned interior design firm Cecconi Simone, the apartments feature the best in modern design, complete with top-of-the-line finishes and fixtures. Central Place also set a high standard of sustainability: achieving USGBC LEED Silver certification by providing a highly efficient glass curtainwall, green roof and premium parking for energy-efficient vehicles with electric. Alternative transportation options include onsite Metro access, bus, dedicated Zipcars located in the garage, 31 dedicated electric car-charging stations, and over 240 bicycle parking spaces, ranging from secure, premium spaces to on-street spaces.
