NAHB has actively participated in all available avenues in ensuring that the NFIP provides cost-effective, affordable flood insurance. NAHB maintains several key policies and in 2013 passed a new policy specifically addressing recent changes. NAHB also takes advantage of every opportunity to voice its positions by providing public comments on related federal activities. Finally, NAHB keep its members eduacted on all NFIP issues and changes.
