PROJECT STATEMENT: Harvest Pointe is a new 55+ residential development on Long Island’s North Fork. Interest in the area has increased exponentially with boomers and empty nesters who are looking to downsize or spend more time on the North Fork (adding a weekend home now to retire to in the future) with a carefree, upscale lifestyle. The marketing strategy was to convey that Harvest Pointe is unique in the area, with high-end luxury homes and resort-style amenities. The marketing strove to capture the country charm of the North Fork, blended with the style and sophistication of the residences. In less than six months of active marketing, Phase I of the development was more than 63 percent sold.
