Located on the city borders of Atlanta and Decatur, Viridian is a sought-after 476 garden-style apartment community offering the best the city has to offer. Tucked into the popular North Druid Hills neighborhood, it has close access to shopping, dining, recreation and great schools. Staying in line with the areas mix of mid-century architecture and urban culture, designers drew inspiration from famed architect/designer, Frank Lloyd Wright, mixing mid-century modern architecture with elements of modern finishes.
The objective was to design a space that felt like home but offers the convenience and amenities of a multifamily community. Just like home, the dining table is where memories are created, and it was important to convey that essence the moment you walk in the door. Flanked by art-deco wall covering, the reception desk is onyx that’s backlit at the center of a high-gloss lacquer frame. A cantilever puzzle is a stunning architectural room divider that separates the reception foyer from the leasing lounge. Interiors and finishes are deliberate in selections of wood, Lucite, mixed metals and bold rich hues of orange and turquoise against neutrals. The leasing center draws you in while the amenities make you want to stay. Residents can enjoy a latte or a cup of coffee from the Starbucks coffee bar. Just a few steps away is the wine lounge that doubles as a tablet bar, comes equipped with multiple TVs, WiFi access and space for entertaining. The resort-style pool was designed to be an indoor-outdoor escape with lounging space in and out of the pool. Adjacent to the pool is the resident club lounge and fitness center. The lounge is the perfect space to work remotely, host a party or just relax and watch the game; the possibilities are limitless.
