55+ Marketing Awards

The Marketing Awards categories are reserved for marketing and sales activities that pertain to an age-designed or age-qualified community catering to the 55+ lifestyle in use as of Jan. 1, 2012. Websites must be live by July 1, 2016.

  • Category 37 — Best 55+ Print Advertisement
  • Category 38 — Best 55+ Sales / Marketing Event(s)
  • Category 39 — Best 55+ Sales Center (Up to 200 Units) 
  • Category 40 — Best 55+ Sales Center (201 to 1000 Units 
  • Category 41 — Best 55+ Sales Center (Over 1000 Units) 
  • Category 42 — Best 55+ Interior Design of a Model (Up to 1,700 Square Feet) 
  • Category 43 — Best 55+ Interior Design of a Model (1,701 – 2,400 Square Feet) 
  • Category 44 — Best 55+ Interior Design of a Model (Over 2,400 Square Feet) 
  • Category 45 — Best 55+ Corporate Website 
  • Category 46 — Best 55+ Community or Project Website 

Judges evaluated the entries on execution and outcome based on the following criteria (as ap­plicable to individual categories):

  • Creativity/Appeal: Work captures attention and stands apart from clutter
  • Target Market: Concepts reflect an understanding of the target audience and/or 55+ consumer segment
  • Benefits/Clarity: Concepts illuminate product attributes and competitive benefits, and the call to action is clear and compelling
  • Success: Work meets objectives and delivers a favorable return on investment
