Project Statement:
AVA NoMa is a multi-family, mixed-use community in Northeast Washington, D.C., designed to keep the city?s urban-minded renters connected and entertained. Centrally located, the community is within walking distance of the Red Line Metro and neighborhood hot spots such as Union Market and H Street Corridor. AVA NoMa maximizes a resident?s lifestyle outside their apartment walls, featuring 20,600 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space as well as 6,800 square feet of retail. Tailored to the "work-hard, play-hard" lifestyle, AVA NoMa features an indoor/outdoor fitness center; expansive rooftop with panoramic views, infinity edge pool, a mega 16? x 8? outdoor screen; multiple "chill spaces" with games throughout; and even private work-from-home zones. This amenity-rich lifestyle extends to four-legged residents as well, with a WAG Pet Spa and off-leash WAG Dog Park. Inside apartment walls, residents can customize their space with large adaptable walk-in closets, the option for space-saving sliding barn doors, and chalkboard walls. Apartments feature an industrial design accented by concrete columns and exposed ductwork ? an aesthetic that gives a nod to the neighborhood?s industrial past and modern future. As another nod to the local community, AVA NoMa features art throughout the building from local artists Michael Crossett, Cita Sadeli CHELOVE, and two murals live-painted during the popular POW! WOW! DC art festival. Since opening in March 2017, AVA NoMa has been incredibly successful, averaging approximately 40 leases a month, and has been well-received with 5 and 4.9 star ratings to-date on Yelp and Google respectively.
